Raymond graduated with a Diploma of Fine Arts from Elam School of Fine Arts. He is a full-time artist focused on painting and drawing, of domestic interiors, historic city scenes, expressive trees and abstract energy. Raymond has exhibited extensively in New Zealand and abroad, with works in many private and public collections. Raymond is currently taking commissions.
Raymond’s work carries a positive dynamic energy, with expert colour combinations, light and dark contrast, a strong sense of form and movement, together with an expansive multi-dimensional spatial understanding; generated by an inspiration that is both worldly and universal.
