Welcome to the fifth biennial Art House Tour, in association with Barfoot & Thompson. The Art House Tour Committee is proud to showcase the amazing talents of our local artists. This art will be set within the stunning properties of seven magnificent Grammar community homes, as well as the School in The Gallery. Art will be displayed in situ with many of the artists in residence to discuss their works.

Firstly, thank you to our talented artists for sharing your remarkable work and creative visions. As Pablo Picasso once said, “The artist is a creator of things that did not exist before.” Your willingness to explore and share your art inspires us all and enriches our community, and hopefully your homes too.

To the homeowners – we are incredibly grateful for your generosity in opening your homes to the Grammar community. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spaces and for allowing us to appreciate art in such intimate and spectacular settings.

May I express my heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors, whose generosity and commitment to the School and the Arts make events like this possible. Your support allows us to foster creativity in the Art Department, enabling our budding student artists to display their accomplishments whilst fostering connections through to our Old Boys and wider community artists.

To the parent volunteers and dedicated committee members, along with the incredible team in the Development Office, your relentless hard work and meticulous planning will bring this vision to life. I am so thankful for your time and effort.

Finally, to all the attendees – thank you for your enthusiasm and support of the Arts and Auckland Grammar School. Your presence and engagement are what make this event a success. Your appreciation for creative expression fuels our passion for bringing art to our community. We hope you will discover the artwork that you will love and treasure for years to come.
