Karley Feaver is an established artist based in Auckland who works as a sculptor using mixed media. She is known for her taxidermy works, where she challenges the common aversion towards taxidermy in the home by introducing forms that blur the lines between traditional taxidermy and modern sculpture.
Karley breathes life into her collections by incorporating elements from nature in the form of animals and radical botanicals. Each piece becomes a silent storyteller, whispering tales of beauty, joy, love, grief, death and longing.
Her works are held in numerous private collections over the world, the Arts House Trust and Westpac NZ’s corporate collection.
